Since 1983, the Public Design Commission of the City of New York has recognized outstanding public projects with its Annual Awards for Excellence in Design. Lighthouse Point was selected by the Commission from hundreds of entries submitted for exemplifying the highest design standards.
Lighthouse Point is led by developer Triangle Equities, and the NYC Economic Development Corporation (EDC). Garrison Architects is partnered with Cooper Carry Architects to realize the project.
Lighthouse Point is a mixed-use project that brings together a hotel, residential, and commercial space to the Staten Island Waterfront. The site contains 4 historical brick buildings that will be renovated as a part of the masterplan.
